When you request a bank withdrawal, FarmX checks the account number against the bank and shows you the registered account name before anything is sent.
What this catches
- A mistyped digit that would send money to a stranger.
- The wrong bank selected for an otherwise correct number.
- An account that is closed or cannot receive transfers.
Your part
Read the resolved name. If it is not exactly yours, stop and correct the details. A transfer to the wrong account is very hard to reverse, and the check only works if you actually look at the result.
If verification fails
Sometimes the bank’s service is briefly down and a valid account will not resolve. Wait and try again shortly. A repeated failure on details you are sure about is worth raising with support.
