Keeping your portfolio readable

As you add projects, My Investments can get busy. A little discipline keeps it a page you can read in ten seconds.

Habits that help

  • Add to an existing project rather than opening a duplicate — FarmX folds repeat buys of the same project into one holding, so use that.
  • Keep a rough target for how many active projects you want to run. Three to six is manageable for most people.
  • When a project matures, decide within a week whether the freed capital is redeployed or withdrawn. Do not let it drift in the wallet.

A monthly review

Once a month, open each holding, read the latest update, and check the value against the return range. That is usually enough. Daily checking tends to produce anxiety, not better decisions.

Use the ledger

If the portfolio total ever looks wrong, the Transactions page has every movement with a reference. Reconcile against that rather than guessing.
